This is the only seasoning I use when grilling steaks. Everybody loves it. Have also used on burgers and pork chops. You don't need anything else!

I have purchased this type of salt from other companies but this is the only product that doesn't get as hard as a rock. It is an excellent seasoning for pork.

I have been using this seasoning for a couple of years. It works well with steak seasoning and BBQ rubs. However, you do need to utilize a light hand when mixing it in since it can be strong. A little goes a long way. I also like to add it to my home made chili.

I will not cook ground beef without this wonderful spice. The smokey flavor just enhances the beef to perfection--even when the beef may not be "prime."

Cooking Pork?

If you are cooking pork you should have some hickory smoked salt on hand to season w/ the pork. Some hickory smoked salt by other companies hardens after several uses so you need to open a new one-- not with Spices Etc.-- You can use it until the jar is empty!! Great product!!
